William Grant launched his blended whisky in quite humble circumstances with the whole of his family pitching in to help grow the business in the early days of the late 19th Century. How he would have felt to see that this is now a worldwide blended whisky! Furthermore the business remains in the family rather than being swallowed up by a larger corporation.
